Our Story

Amanda’s Vineyards is a family owned winery located in beautiful Prince Edward County, just five minutes away from Lake on the Mountain. Its founder, Mihai Geangalau, invites you to sample its carefully crafted wines, which are the expression of the terroir of the region and his passion for wine. Visit our tasting room and enjoy a walk in the beautiful surroundings.

Our Wine

Frontenac Blanc is a fortified white wine (port style) made from a variety of grapes from Quebec. The sugary grapes give a fruity and fresh taste to the wine. Best enjoyed as an appetizer or by making yourself a port-style refreshing cocktail for a hot summer afternoon.

Frontenac blanc est un vin blanc fortifié de style port, fait avec une variété de raisins provenant du Québec. Il est mieux servi comme entrée ou utlisé pour un cocktail.

355ml, 18% alc

Our Portofino wine is made from Frontenac noir grapes, which we left hanging on the vines so the sugar would go higher and the acidity would decrease. It is rich with persistent notes of black cherries. We would recommend enjoying it with cheese, nuts and/or dark chocolate.

Notre vin Portofino est fait avec des raisins de Frontenac noir que nous avons laissés sécher pour que le niveau de sucre augmente et que le niveau d'acidité diminue. Nous le recommandons avec du fromage, des noix et/ou du chocolat.

Our red wine is a blend of Marquette, Frontenac Rouge and Petite Perle grapes, with rich flavours of dark berries and soft notes of chocolate. Best enjoyed with pizza and steak.

Notre vin rouge est un assemblage de Marquette, Frontenac rouge, et petite perle au riches saveurs de fruits noirs et de notes douces de chocolat. Mieux apprécié avec une pizza et/ou grillades.

750ml, 13.5% alc

Our white wine is a blend of Frontenac Blanc and Muscat O. with a refreshing acidity and intense notes of green apple. Best enjoyed with fish, lobster and/or cheese.

Notre vin blanc est un assemblage de Frontenac Blanc et Muscat O. avec une acidité rafraîchissanre et des notes intenses de pomme verte. Mieux apprécié avec du poisson, du homard et/ou du fromage.

750ml, 12% alcohol

A fortified pink wine. Our vermouth rosé is a light, fresh aperitif with a delicate aroma of herbs and spices. It is refreshing and velvety. Serve it chilled over ice, tonic water and a slice of orange; perfect to combine in a cocktail.

Un vin fortifié rose. Notre vermouth rosé est une entrée légère qui contient des arômes d'herbes et d'épices. Mieux servi avec de la glace, de l'eau tonique et des oranges.
